BIZZY FALL

In September, I shot my first medical training video. It was for the CDC and I played a doctor counseling several people about infectious diseases. We shot at EMORY UNIVERSITY's Nurses Training Wing, so we were in an authentic environment and it was one of the hardest jobs I've had as an actor. Dialog changed frequently in the middle of a scene and I now have enormous respect for those actors who can memorize and spit out the words minutes later!

AUGUST SURPRISES!

Posted on August 19, 2019 at 4:30 PM Comments comments (0)

After a fairly quiet June, between late-July and mid-August, I suddenly found myself with 12 auditions in 15 days! I have never had that many auditions in so short a time and it truly was like Audition Bootcamp! Ten of the auditions were self-tape and two were in person. What an unexpected surprise. I think, in large part, the volume of auditions is due to my new headshots. They really capture me and are the best headshots I've ever had. They were taken by the multi-ta...

JUNE 2019

Posted on June 13, 2019 at 4:10 PM Comments comments (0)

I have been remiss.... it's been way too long since I did an update.

RECAP SINCE MARCH:

Acting has slowed down a bit for me. In March, I booked and shot a Principal role in a FLOOR & DECOR video package. That included an Industrial (training video), a Commercial, Online Clips, and Print Work. I had seven pages of dialog and the day went so well, we wrapped early.

In APRIL and MAY, I had several auditions for commercials a...

FEB-BRRR-UARY 2019!

Posted on February 16, 2019 at 6:25 PM Comments comments (0)

It's been a couple of months since I updated here.

2019 has been off to a good start! At the beginning of January, I booked and shot a NASCAR CAR HALL OF FAME Commercial that premieres during the INDIE 500. It's regional, so if you're not in the Richmond, VA or Nashville, TN area, you won't see it. I'm hoping it will pop up on YouTube and will share it here if it does.

I've also had a few commercial auditions, and auditions for tv shows shooting in S...

WINTER IS HERE

Posted on December 14, 2018 at 8:40 PM Comments comments (0)

It is mid-December and David and I are very happy in our new townhome in Georgia. We loved our first year+ in midtown Atlanta, but we are even happier being a little further out of all the action. Our tree is up and we are ready for the Holidays. And we moved just at the right time because over the last month or so, I have been very busy auditioning for various tv shows, commercials, and features. Busier than I've ever been. Having more space, including a separate room dedic...

HOMICIDE HUNTER EPISODE AIRED

Posted on October 31, 2018 at 11:25 AM Comments comments (0)

Very pleased to share that my episode of HOMICIDE HUNTER aired October 17th. I played a crazy, ANGRY, old bat! HH doesn't usually have comic relief, so this was a little different for the show. CARL MARINO is the actor who plays the young JOE KENDA and we had a lot of fun doing the scene. The director had me do a few takes and they chose the most over-the-top version - and my favorite!

You can view it on the REELS & CLIPS section (see above).

3 MONTHS LATER...

Posted on October 1, 2018 at 3:30 PM Comments comments (0)

Hello friends,

The Summer of 2018 was rough - my 10 year-old grandnephew Connor passed away after a short illness. It was a shocking and terrible time for our family, especially for Connor's parents, siblings, and grandparents (he was my youngest sister Audrey's grandson). Connor was a generous, kind-hearted boy who was always helping others. In his memory, RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS FOR CONNOR was started by Connor's mother. In your travels, you ma...

JUNE 1ST - LOOKING BACK AT MAY...

Posted on June 1, 2018 at 9:45 AM Comments comments (0)

Overall, I'd say May was a very good month! I had several fun auditions and ...

I booked and shot an episode of DEAD SILENT, a murder re-enactment show that's in it's 7th season. The scenes required strong emotion and the director liked my work enough to actually expanded my scenes a bit. I don't have the air date yet, but when I do, I will post it here.

I was also cast in and shot two lovely scenes in ONLY EASY DAY, a beautiful film directed ...

MAY (BE NOT!)

Posted on May 8, 2018 at 4:30 PM Comments comments (0)

When it rains, it pours! But, April showers bring May flowers....

As much as I wanted to go forward with the play SELECTED WINNER, I had to bow out. I booked a Supporting Role on a tv reenactment show called DEAD SILENT and also got my schedule for the movie in Alabama. Trying to do all three at the same time meant something had to give. Fortunately, the play hadn't even begun rehearsals yet and won't go up until the end of July, so the producers have time to r...
